A Notion To Ponder is my corner of the web — a place where the things I think about, build, and write down can live together. It is equal parts notebook, workshop, and portfolio.
Writing
Much of what I care about starts as writing. The blog is where I work through ideas in long form — from tradition and interpretation to whatever I happen to be reading. These are primarily meant for my family and friends but those who find this are welcome to enjoy. Poetry lives here too, kept deliberately quiet and uncluttered on its own pages.
Building
On the technical side I build practical web projects, this site among them — a Django application I use to publish, experiment, and learn. I gravitate toward clean, maintainable code and design that stays out of the reader's way.
Mathematics & Physics
I have a standing curiosity about mathematics and physics, and I use writing as a way to think them through. You will find those explorations woven into the blog rather than walled off — a running attempt to understand a little more than I did yesterday.
